Dopo aver fatto notare all'inglese di turno che noi abbiamo un sistema di controllo del traffico ferroviario un tantino più sensato del "guarda il segnale e spera", mi son buttato a cercare qualche info in più..

Loro hanno l'Automatic Warning System http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatic_Warning_System, basato su tecnologia modernissima degli anni 30, modificato negli anni 50.

Il sistema restituisce lo stato del segnale solo 180metri prima di raggiungerlo..ma la roba da medioevo arriva adesso:

Tutto il "wall of text" è riassunto da questa frase "Whilst critics claim TPWS is a cheap solution" i critici definiscono il TPWS un sistema scarso.. e a leggere le specifice lo è anche se si difendono dicendo che hanno avuto pochi incidenti mortali.

Quindi il "cazzaro" inglese, che ha applaudito all'eliminazione della visione del segnale successivo in cabina in RW2, è un perfetto ignorante dato che non sà che anche le "sue" ferrovie usano un sistema di ripetizione in cabina, grezzo all'inverosimile, ma pur sempre presente. : Blink :
