Ma Bigvern c'è o ci fà? E' fissato che le DM siano un allungamento della draw distance e che portino solo "terrore, morte e raccapriccio"... com'è che non si è mai lamentato della loro presenza in MSTS?

Quel vern deve essere un bel po' rinc...nito.
Ho tradotto (meglio che ho potuto) quel post che oltre a non avere senso ha fatto il gioco degli RSC portando completamente OT la discussione iniziale.
Poi nessuno aveva parlato di DM qui. Semplicemente hanno chiesto a Derek perche' da un mese non ha aggiornato piu' la wiki.
Parlando delle DM poi, a me non viene proprio in mente quante ore mi e' costato il lavoro, ma piuttosto quanto ci stanno prendendo per il <beep> gli RSC

O e' veramente rimbambito o Derek lo paga sottobanco per distrarre l'attenzione della community. Ma lo ha almeno letto il titolo ?Discutendo con Otto su TS.com rigurado i pro e il contro di aumentare la distanza di rendering, mi sono seduto e ho calcolato il tempo che ci vuole per fare una relativamente semplice route di 20 miglia, come la mia Heartbeat Moor, niente di straordinario per lo piu' 3D di default e pochi nuovi - es i "good" freeware standards.
E' risultato qualcosa nell'intorno di 140 ore lavorative. Al costo ragionevole di £20/ora per questo tipo di lavoro (my central heating engineer charges £40 an hour) se ci fossimo asprettati di venir pagati cio comporterebbe un costodi £2800.
...

La cosa "divertente" è che nel topic che avevi aperto sulle Dm non ha mai fatto un post, però è andato avanti per mezzo forum a dire che aumentare la visuale è una stupidata.. etc... perchè costringe a disegnare di più, a colorare di più etc. Chi è quel matto che si metterebbe a fare i 3D presenti a 5 - 6 - 30km di distanza dall'osservatore se poi non ci passa mai vicino perchè non si trovano in direzione della linea.Questo e' un maestro dell' OT e del nonsense!
Mi sà che il caro Vern non ha capito la differenza tra la distanza di visuale e la distanza del terreno visibile.
